So, who was I supposed to sheep there???
If there's one thing we're learning in BT, it's that improved execution of tactics is an absolute requirement. Fights require everyone to do their job; one person in the wrong place at the wrong time or missing an assignment will cause a wipe. That was certainly the case with the Shade of Akama.
This is a very fun fight that requires good dps and perfect crowd control. When done correctly, the fight lasts less than 5 minutes, and makes you wonder why it seemed challenging in the first place. We got our first look at SoA tonight, and downed him on our third attempt. The crowd control for the adds was exceptional, and was the key to the fight - great job mages and add tanks! DPS had our moment in the sun during phase 2 (and burning down the channelers as well), with a kill coming well before the timer expired. Good work all, and on to another new boss!
