Lots of Raid Content cleared; welcome to the New Year!
The books are closed on 2008; it was a good year for TDC, with Burning Crusade raiding content cleared through T6, all the while on a 2 day/week raiding schedule. With the introduction of the expansion, we are excited to continue this trend, and started off 2009 with our core raiders clearing Naxx-10, Vault-10 and -25, and Sarth-10 and -25, with good progress into Naxx-25 (Plague, Arachnid cleared, Construct to Thaddius - damn lag - in one night).
Naxx is a very well done raid instance. Since most of us did not experience it in Vanilla WoW, we've enjoyed the variations of the fights, and can really understand why this has been considered the best raid instance delivered by Blizzard. We also understand that Naxx in its present incarnation is tuned to a lower difficulty than when it was originally released; we believe this serves as a good warm-up for level 80 raiding, and until Ulduar is released will provide good opportunities for working on execution and gearing our raid team. With Sapph down in Naxx-10, and our plan to have Naxx-25 cleared in the next 2 weeks, we'll move to the Eye of Eternity and wrap up current WotLK raiding content soon.
2009 will be full of challenges, and TDC is ready to meet them. We're glad to be back at it!
