For the first time in more than a week, TDC ventured into the Spark of Imagination and the workshop of Mimiron. Apparently, he needed help testing out some of his newest toys. We were happy to oblige.
Mimiron is a complicated, multi-stage encounter with a number of instant kill effects to avoid. Each of the first three stages has different position and tanking requirements. This culminates in stage four, where Mimi's vehicles combine into a single giant robot. In the end, this encounter is about knowing his attacks well enough to avoid instant or near-instant death, maintaining steady dps, and healing through brutal amounts of damage. Amidst the craziness of his final stage, we just had to stay calm and coordinate the deaths of his various parts in order to finally 'correct his calculations'.
Under a strict 'you break it, you bought it' policy, we now own several pieces of Mimiron's loot and have cleared all of Ulduar's keepers on heroic difficulty. What horrors await as we continue on? There has to be a reason why they don't call it the Descent into Mental Well-Being...
